Bencanto: From a Whisper to a Shout

Bencanto is a high-contrast display serif for luxury brands, couture fashion, fine hospitality and premium packaging.

Sung, Not Spoken
Its name comes from bel canto, the Italian art of beautiful singing. Hairlines drawn to a whisper meet strokes of deep, sculpted weight; crossbars curl into small loops, and every terminal finishes in a clean flare.

Three Widths, One Voice
Eight weights from Extra Light to Black, in Condensed, Normal and Extended, each with a true italic drawn for its own rhythm. That makes 48 styles, plus a variable font that moves freely across weight, width and italic.

Made for the Big Moments
Titling capitals refine the uppercase at large sizes. Paired with small caps, they make quiet, distinguished logotypes.

A Complete Toolkit
Small caps, stylistic alternates, historical forms, ornaments, oldstyle and lining figures, fractions, superscripts and ordinals, with support for 296 Latin-script languages.

Production assistance by Lucas Azevedo.
